1 + 2 = 3

Hello friends!   

          Hope you all have been wonderful! It has been a while since I have written anything!  We have been super busy. It first started around …. Midnight on January 24^th. My little Nephew was making his way into this world! I wasn’t able to be there with my sister , since I live so far away , so I did what any sister would do ……. Harassed my poor mother for any details she could give me. That happened about … ever 15 mins. Lol   Finally, through rigorous pushing and eventually a C-Section , Baby Emmit James graced us with his little 8lb 10oz self on January 26^th !  Needless to say he was the highlight of the month! The following weekend my hubby and I took a trip over to see them. 4.5 hours never seems that long when you are on the phone chatting it up with the new momma! ;0)

   We went for a visit that lasted 4 days. It didn’t nearly seem long enough. I held that sweet little baby , for what seemed like hours, with complete happiness. Happiness for my sister and brother-in-law and happiness for this new little life…. And to be a little selfish , happiness for me to be able to hold and cuddle with a little cutie that smelled of delicious baby!

      On our trip back I was feeling so upset about having to leave them. It just broke my heart that I wasn’t going to be there to see him grow. I became extremely emotional and couldn’t understand why . We got home Sunday afternoon and by Monday night I was feeling strange. So … I’m not sure what exactly told me to take a pregnancy test but I did. And sure enough ….we are becoming 3 !!! ;0)  Now I didn’t believe the test . I took 3 of them ! lol  I called the doctor and she got me right in and did a test herself and came to the same conclusion!  My doctor , being a sweet Persian woman said in her little Arab voice “ My dar-ling , you going to have BABY!!!“ lol I don’t think I ever laughed so hard! I was thrilled beyond words!

So … as I sit here … being now 6 weeks pregnant, feeling the nastiness of morning sickness, I am elated. The biggest smile on my face possible!  I get overjoyed when I can say 1+2 =3 ! 

 So where do we go from here? Well my boho blog, I do believe, will turn into a boho’s adventure into motherhood! Come with me on this journey of official motherhood … and let’s do it in style!
