A Struggling Surrendered Soul.

Have you given much thought to what that verse really means?  I was going through some serious MUCK today . A friend of mine posted that verse . It really hit me . Conviction hit , and then redemption quickly took its place.

 And then I started to feel bad. Satan was trying to make me feel worse. While I was reading this verse it hit me , "He who had no sin "to be " sin for us..." Ok , now I don't know if this means the same thing to you , but what I took from it was this : Every time I sin ...b/c he takes my sin ( ...no sin to be sin for us ..) in essence means whatever I did He now bears the guilt , the shame , the nasty .  He's now holding it . Can you imagine.... someone who is perfect and spotless and "of NO sin" now has to take my sin from me that I may be righteous in the sight of the L-rd! It should break your heart. Think of it ...Every single thing , no matter how not so bad or how horrid it is , He takes it, to be the bearer of the sin I just committed. Man ...  So many days ... I wonder why I was made the way i was . Why I fall to the same stupid thing . Why couldn't I just be made like Enoch. To be so close to G-d that the devil doesn't even try . Since where the Light is darkness cannot abide. "A believer should not rest satisfied with the mere acceptance of the blessed truth that he is redeemed by that blood. But what he should do is press on to a fuller knowledge of what is meant by that statement, and to learn what that blood is intended to do in a surrendered soul." -Andrew Murray . A surrendered soul ..... man .. I wish with all of my heart I could be capable of being a surrendered soul. I'm sure in some capacity I can be . But I will always fall . Maybe that is the lesson. To be successful in surrendering and to be fully surrendered , you must be willing to get back up every time you fail . Satan loves to steal , kill , and destroy. From my experience, when I fail , he tries to use all of those tactics . He comes under and tries to steal my foot stool , I get wobbly . Then he tries to kill my joy . Then he tries to destroy my self worth . Sometimes he succeeds. But there is a positive , because my Father was willing to bear my sin , He gave me the VICTORY over Satan because of His blood. I hate the Devil ...I really do ... with a passion . He can single-handedly ruin everything if you let him. And I'll be honest , I let him on numerous occasions. I need to remember this next verse more often , it says " For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life." Leviticus 17:11 That's what makes His blood so meaningful. He is saying that because Blood give the flesh ( your body ) life , than by him shedding His own you may have life everlasting. My G-d....sweet Jesus , how can we have such a gift but continue to not realize how to receive it ? The answer is right there . The blood on that altar has in it , the redemptive power ! The power to heal wounds of the heart . To give strength to the week heart. To raise up the smallest, beat up , bruised , put-away-wet heart and make it a warrior. What a promise . Such life in those words. What a glorious thought for everyone who desires to experience the full power of the blood. Sin is so entirely covered and atoned for, it is no longer reckoned as that of the one who is guilty . We are forgiven!!!! That's the best news I've heard all day ! Thank you L-rd Yeshua for the forgiveness of your Son ! For the POWERFUL blood that you shed for this whole world of vial sinners. I praise you for the grace that you give that we may be called sons and daughters of G-d. Life is not an easy journey to travel. Guide us as we walk it the best we know how. Pray for us diligently. Reveal to us how we are forgiven . Make us stronger in spite of our struggles and our failures. Draw us all closer to You than we have every been before . And when the devil comes to steal , kill, and destroy , let us hear the voice of the Holy Spirit so much more loudly than that of the enemy . Thank you for your promises and for the blessing of life ! We praise you for all these things. In the name of our L-rd and Savior Jesus . Amen!
