I have decided to do a series of crafty little beauties!. Here in the next month i'm going to do several DIY (Do It Yourself ) projects . I will include pictures and instructions to help with the projects. I get tired of writing things that may not be interesting to many people. So hey , everybody likes a do it yourself project every now and then! So the list of things I will do ( not necessarily in this order) are as follows: Pot Holder , Rag Quilt, Paper Bowls, Colored Glass Bottles, a Child's Mobile, Hemp String Bubble Lamp Shade, Baby Bundle Wrap, and a Nursing Cover-Up. We'll start with that and see if you all like it .If it's a hit then I'll get into more and have guest bloggers who enjoy crafting too and they can share some ideas with us!
I decided to do this since I seem to be in some sort of a rut. I feel like my
friends are virtually nonexistent . I have lived in this city for about 2 1/2
years and still cannot hook up with anybody that has the same vision as I do .
I have been in this rut for a while now . I tent to need stimulating friends .
They stir up my creativity .But anyway , I'm looking for ways to be content
with me . Trust me , I can totally keep myself occupied. But its always nice to
have people to hang with that are a lot like you.... So here's to hoping these
projects pull me out of this and we can be back onto more productive things!!!

Hang in there! I know that feeling and it can be hard times. People will come around, sometimes it just takes time. I like DIY crafts....well, I like the idea of them. Sometimes I stink at actually implementing them. lol.
ReplyDeleteLOL I can understand that too! Sometimes My DIY's really look like I did them myself . But here's to hoping This isn't that bad! LOL And thank you for the encouragement. I can loose focus of what really important sometimes! I just need to learn to be content....Whew ... even the word is crazy!
